History

Establishment of the company Vodstroy 1973

The company was founded with hydro-reclamation construction as its core activity. It formed part of the state construction infrastructure of the People’s Republic of Bulgaria, alongside major enterprises operating in different sectors, including “Sofstroy”, “Inzhstroy”, “Metalstroy”, “Transstroy”, “Minstroy”, etc.
Unification of SEE Vodno Stopanstvo 1976

Merger of Vodstroy and Irrigation Systems under the shared name State Economic Enterprise Vodno Stopanstvo, a division of the Vodno Stopanstvo State Economic Association - Sofia. The new enterprise specialised in the construction and operation of irrigation and land-reclamation facilities.
Division of Business Operations 1988

The company was divided into two separate business units based on their activities – Construction and Operations.
Establishment of Vodno Stroitelstvo – Blagoevgrad 1998

A branch of Vodno Stopanstvo was separated, privatized and transformed into an employee-management-owned company under the name Vodno Stroitelstvo – Blagoevgrad JSC. During this period, the company delivered a number of landmark infrastructure projects across Southwestern region, including the Stoykovtsi Dam near the village of Logodazh, small hydropower plants in the village of Vlahi (Kresna Municipality), the Residential Care Home for the Elderly in Kocherinovo, the Rila–Kocherinovo water supply pipeline, and many other significant engineering projects.
Eterna Construction JSC 2024

The company began operating under its new corporate name, Eterna Construction JSC. Today, the company continues to invest in the development of Southwestern Bulgaria, providing comprehensive maintenance services for the national road network, including routine, preventive and winter road maintenance, while contributing to the region's long-term infrastructure development.

The Eterna Construction JSC team comprises highly qualified professionals from across the construction industry, including engineers, plant operators, construction workers, economists and many others. Most have extensive experience in delivering transport and energy infrastructure and hydraulic engineering projects. Every member of the team applies uncompromising quality standards and remains up to date with innovation and technological developments in modern construction. Our entire team continuously enhances its expertise through training programmes, technical seminars and professional workshops. At the same time, the company’s management makes targeted investments in measurable improvements to operational performance, quality assurance, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection.
